What is Hyperliquid?
Hyperliquid is a specialized Layer 1 blockchain with a decentralized derivatives exchange featuring an on-chain order book at its core. HYPE token is the native currency of this network.
How it works
Unlike most decentralized exchanges using liquidity pools, trades here are matched through a full order book recorded on the blockchain. Its own consensus mechanism ensures transaction confirmation in fractions of a second. HYPE is used for staking, paying fees, and participating in the ecosystem, with a portion of protocol revenue directed toward token buybacks from the market.
Pros and cons
