What is Cardano?

How it works
The network uses its own Proof-of-Stake protocol called Ouroboros: ADA holders delegate coins to staking pools and receive rewards for participating in block confirmation. The platform supports smart contracts, token issuance, and decentralized governance, where holders vote on network development.
