Four members of the executive body of Hamkorbank (tickers HMKB, HMKBP) became bank shareholders for the first time. Changes were recorded in the shareholder register as of September 30.
Who received what
Prior to the changes, none of the listed individuals held stakes in the capital:
- Bakhtiyorjon Zhuraev — 4,810,514 shares (0.0037%);
- Aziza Ibragimova — 963,880 shares (0.0007%);
- Rafal Marcin Yushchak — 432,639 shares (0.0003%);
- Sherzodbek Mamasaliev, chairman of the board — 328,062 shares (0.0002%).
The combined stake of all four is less than 0.005% of the authorized capital.
What this means
The appearance of shares among management with zero previous positions indicates an incentive program — a common practice where management compensation is paid partly in company securities.
The mechanism is designed to align the interests of executives with those of shareholders: an increase in bank value raises the manager's personal income.
The package sizes are symbolic in terms of capital share, but significant in monetary value — based on market quotes, amounts are in tens and hundreds of millions of sums.
Why such facts are disclosed
Changes in share ownership by executives are published as a requirement. The rule aims at transparency: investors should see whether managers are buying or selling their company's shares.
In global practice, such transactions are considered signals. Share purchases by management are usually viewed positively, while sales of large packages are viewed with caution.
In this case, it is not about market purchases but about share allocation — so treating this as a market signal would be incorrect.
