What is Worldcoin?
Worldcoin (WLD) is a token of the World project, which aims to create a global system to verify that a user is a living human, not a bot or AI. Verification is performed through iris scanning with a special sphere device.
How it works
After scanning, the user receives World ID — cryptographic proof of uniqueness without revealing identity — and periodic WLD token distributions. The identifier can be used to log into applications and protect services from bots. The token operates on Ethereum-based networks and is used within the project's mini-app ecosystem.
