Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan (JSC "Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan") is a bank with foreign capital, a subsidiary of Turkish T.C. Ziraat Bankası. The parent bank was founded in 1863 and is Turkey's largest bank by assets. The bank's history in Uzbekistan began in 1993: then Agroprombank of Uzbekistan and Turkish Ziraat Bank agreed to establish the Uzbek-Turkish Bank. In December 2017, Ziraat Bank bought out Agrobank's stake, became the sole owner and renamed the bank. Today the bank operates under the license of the Central Bank No. 1 dated December 25, 2021, specializes in servicing Turkish-Uzbek trade relations and works with SWIFT and Western Union transfers. The head office is located in Tashkent.
