- assets — 14.62 trillion som, up 178.87% year-on-year;
- loan portfolio — 832.68 billion som, up 104.56%;
- equity capital — 1.30 trillion som, up 38.93%;
- liabilities — from 4.31 trillion to 13.32 trillion som;
- return on equity (ROE) — 27.4%;
- net interest income — 439.39 billion som;
- customer base — over 3.66 million people.
Key Takeaways from These Figures
Liabilities grew more than threefold, assets nearly threefold, while the loan portfolio doubled and remains relatively small in relation to the balance sheet: less than 6% of assets.
This indicates that most of the attracted funds were placed not in lending but in other instruments. The approach is similar to what other market participants used this season — placing liquidity in low-risk money market instruments at high rates.
ROE of 27.4% with such a structure looks impressive, but the sustainability of this model depends on interest rate levels: if rates decline, returns on such placements shrink faster than credit margins.
New Products and Payment Solutions
In the third quarter, the bank launched three credit programs: mortgages for home purchases, and auto loans for new and used vehicles.
Internet acquiring partners now accept payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay. Uzbekistan Airways and Centrum Air were among the first major companies to enable the service — their passengers can pay for airline tickets through digital wallets. Card data protection uses tokenization.
Settlements in 16 Currencies
Corporate clients now have expanded currency conversion and international payment options — 16 world currencies are now available, including Chinese yuan, Singapore dollar, Swiss franc, Polish zloty, Czech koruna, Canadian dollar, Mexican peso, Australian dollar, and Japanese yen.
Additionally, international transfers are now available through partner apps — Paynet, Microcreditbank, Asia Alliance Bank, BRB, Anorbank, and Tajikistan Development Bank. Through them, you can send funds to Turkey, China, Tajikistan, and other countries.
Certification and International Activity
In the reporting quarter, the bank confirmed compliance with the international standard PCI DSS v4.0.1 for payment card data protection and obtained ISO 37001:2025 certification for anti-corruption management systems.
The bank was also recognized in two categories of the Global Banking & Finance Awards 2026 program and participated in several international industry forums, including SIBOS 2026 in Miami and CIFIT in China.
Educational Initiatives
As part of World Savings Day, open financial literacy lessons were conducted jointly with the Central Bank at UMID and the Institute of Art and Culture. A case club for students was organized on the campus of the New Uzbekistan university.
