The leading digital financial platform of Central Asia, part of TBC Bank Group, presented consolidated results for the second quarter and the first half of 2026. The company demonstrates confident business scaling and expansion into the non-financial sector.
The key driver of fintech ecosystem growth was audience expansion: the number of monthly active users (MAU) reached 5.8 million people. In parallel, rapid growth in payment instrument issuance was recorded. By the end of June, the volume of issued TBC Salom debit cards increased by 129% year-over-year, reaching 1.2 million units. The TBC Osmon credit card product showed threefold growth (200%) — to 212 thousand cards, which was also supported by its transition to the international Mastercard platform.
Payment market share and credit portfolio structure
The financial platform strengthened its position in the country's transaction sector. The total volume of processed payments increased by 45% compared to the same period last year, reaching 38.8 trillion soums. This indicator provides the company with control over more than 20% of Uzbekistan's entire payment market. The number of active commercial partners (merchants) increased to 23.6 thousand.
Based on the first half results, the combined credit portfolio of the ecosystem was recorded at 10.48 trillion soums. Its structure is as follows:
- Business lending: loans for small and medium enterprises through TBC Biznes accounted for 19%;
- POS credits and installments: TBC Nasiya services and points of sale accounted for 13%;
- Credit cards: the share of this segment in the total portfolio increased to 10%.
Meanwhile, the digital bank's deposit portfolio exceeded 6.5 trillion soums, with 5% of this amount accumulated directly in TBC Salom card accounts. Net commission income for the reporting quarter showed 15% growth relative to the first three months of the year, reaching 179.2 billion soums.
Purchase of OLX Uzbekistan and launch of new services
The reporting period was marked by important structural changes. TBC Group successfully completed a transaction to acquire a majority stake in OLX Uzbekistan — the country's largest online classifieds platform, which ranks in the top 10 most visited Internet resources of the republic (more than 5 million users). The integration will allow the implementation of payment and credit instruments of the fintech platform directly into the classifieds, which will continue to develop under its own brand.
Additionally, the product line was expanded by launching collateral lending for SMEs, salary projects, as well as digital auto lending for individuals.
Global recognition and expert assessment
The company's achievements were recognized internationally. In July, the holding won in four key categories of the prestigious Euromoney Awards for Excellence, becoming the best digital bank in both Uzbekistan and Central Asia. In addition, the authoritative publication CNBC for the second consecutive year included the company in the global ranking of the world's largest fintech companies.
TBC Uzbekistan General Director Nika Kurdiani emphasized that the diversification of credit offerings and successful closing of M&A transactions, including OLX integration, lay a solid foundation for the ecosystem's continued dominance (which also includes Payme, TBC Sug'urta and BILLZ) in the country's digital market.
